“Everything one could hope for from the confluence of this great estate and a legendary vintage. 97+ rating.”
John Gilman
Domaine Huet’s Cuvée Constance is not only the Loire’s greatest sweet wine. It is a nectar so unimaginable in its richness that it may surpass anything made in the world.
Made only in the greatest vintages, Constance is a meticulous selection of the most intensely botrytized grapes in Huet’s three grand cru vineyards—Clos du Bourg, Le Mont and Le Haut Lieu. And up to 2014, only seven vintages were worthy of producing a Constance.
But then 2015 came along.
With 2015 arguably the greatest late-harvest Chenin Blanc vintage in decades, there was never any doubt that a Constance would be made. The only question was: just how great would it be?
Now we know. With the early reviews starting to come in, it's very clear that the 2015 Constance is a dessert wine for the ages … and possibly the greatest Constance ever. The only question is how far back will we have to go—to 1947?—to find any Huet wine to match its brilliance.
As Huet’s sole U.S. importer, we can offer provenance that no one else can. This means that each and every half-liter bottle has traveled door-to-door under constant temperature control, with no diversions.
This is a wine you will want in your cellar, not only for drinking over the next few years, but also as a family legacy to be experienced 40 or 50 years from now. If that’s your goal, our pristine bottles are the ones you’ll want to own.
An epic wine that’s not to be missed.
